Located in northwestern Wyoming, Jackson Hole is a beautiful alpine valley ringed by the Teton Mountain Range on the west and the Gros Ventre Mountains on the east. The valley is approximately 60 miles long and 20 miles wide. The valley floor elevation is 6,209 feet.

Teton County is 3,826,407 acres of which ninety seven percent is under the management of state and federal government. Jackson, the only incorporated town, is the county seat. Other towns in Teton County with their own post offices are - Alta, Kelly, Moose, Moran, Teton Village, and Wilson. Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park are also in Teton County.
